š Vacancy Details
Recruitment is open for the following trades (across different refineries):
Major Trade Categories:
- Trade Apprentice – Operator (Chemical Plant), Fitter, Boiler
- Technician Apprentice – Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation
- Trade Apprentice – Secretarial Assistant, Accountant
- Data Entry Operator – Fresher & Skill Certificate Holders
Locations: Guwahati, Barauni, Gujarat, Haldia, Mathura, Panipat, Digboi, Bongaigaon, Paradip
Reservation: Applicable as per Govt. norms (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD)

š§¾ Key Responsibilities
- Participate in on-the-job training related to operations and maintenance
- Assist in plant area activities under supervision
- Learn technical and administrative functions per trade
- Comply with safety standards and reporting guidelines
š Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Qualification:
- ITI (Fitter) from NCVET/SCVT (for Code 102)
- 3-Year Full-Time Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc.)
- Full-Time Graduation: B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.
- Class XII (for Data Entry Operator roles)
- Minimum Marks: 50% (General/EWS/OBC), 45% (SC/ST/PwBD)
- Training Eligibility: Candidates must have completed required education and should not be pursuing higher studies or prior apprenticeship.

- No prior experience required
- Candidates with prior Apprenticeship Training or over 1 year of job experience post-qualification are not eligible
š Location and Work Environment
Refinery Locations:
- Assam: Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon
- Bihar: Barauni
- Gujarat: Vadodara
- West Bengal: Haldia
- Uttar Pradesh: Mathura
- Haryana: Panipat
- Odisha: Paradip
Environment: Industrial/plant setting with focus on safety, training, and skill development.
š° Salary and Benefits
- Stipend: As per Apprentices Act and IOCL norms
- Leave: 32 days general leave, 12 days casual leave annually
- Insurance: Accident insurance coverage provided
- Safety Gear: Safety shoes and helmet (for technical trades)
