Overview
IBPS has announced the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs XIV) for Group “A” Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose). The online examinations will be conducted as per the tentative schedule given in the notification.

Posts & Selection Process
- Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Two-tier process – Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. Final merit based on Main Exam.
- Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview.
- Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer & Specialists) and Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Single Examination followed by Interview.
Participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)
The notification lists the participating RRBs across multiple States/UTs. Local language proficiency as prescribed by the respective RRB is mandatory. Refer to the “Participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)” section in the PDF for the full list.
Eligibility (as per notification)
Nationality / Citizenship
As specified in the notification for recruitment in RRBs (including categories such as Indian citizen and other categories recognized by Govt. of India with requisite certificates).
Age (as on 01.09.2025)
- Office Assistants (Multipurpose): 18 to 28 years
- Officer Scale I: Above 18 years and below 30 years
- Officer Scale II: Above 21 years and below 32 years
- Officer Scale III: Above 21 years and below 40 years
Age relaxations apply to reserved categories as per Government of India rules (details in the notification).
Educational Qualifications & Experience

- Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree (discipline as per notification); local language proficiency required.
- Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree (with preferences as stated in the notification); local language proficiency required.
- Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer): Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate as specified plus relevant banking/financial experience.
- Officer Scale II (Specialists): Post-specific degrees/qualifications (e.g., IT, Law, CA, etc.) with the experience requirements as specified.
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate as specified plus higher experience in bank/financial institutions.

Officers (Scale I, II & III)

Office Assistants (Multipurpose)
- SC / ST / PwBD / ESM / DESM: ₹175 (Inclusive of GST)
- All Others: ₹850 (Inclusive of GST)
Exam Pattern (as described in notification)
- Preliminary Exams (for Office Assistants & Officer Scale I) – objective type tests.
- Main / Single Exams – objective type covering Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General/Financial Awareness, English/Hindi language, and Quantitative Aptitude/Numerical Ability, with Professional Knowledge where applicable (Officer Scale II Specialists).
- Interview for Officers (Scale I, II & III) coordinated by the Nodal RRBs with NABARD/IBPS.

Reservation & Accessibility
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer), EWS, and PwBD as per Government of India rules.
- PwBD candidates are eligible for scribe/compensatory time per the notification’s guidelines.
- Ex-Servicemen and other categories receive relaxations as specified.
